Sennheiser Spectera Base Station

At the heart of the Spectera wireless ecosystem, the Base Station replaces multiple traditional wireless mics and IEM racks with a single, wideband RF solution using WMAS (Wireless Multichannel Audio System). It handles both microphone transmissions and in-ear monitor (IEM/IFB) signals over the same RF carriers, greatly simplifying system architecture while offering high channel density.

The Base Station is engineered for reliability and flexibility. It includes redundant power supplies, redundant Dante interfaces, optional redundant MADI, and four antenna ports for extended zone coverage or redundancy. Sample rates of 48 kHz and 96 kHz are supported, with individual sample rate converters on all audio interfaces.

Remote control and monitoring are handled via RJ45 network interfaces and the LinkDesk / WebUI software, giving you access to RF health, battery status, audio levels, and system diagnostics from anywhere on the network.
